Knowing your partners

One of the key success factors in any commercial partnership is to understand the business of your partners. We have been fortunate that we have partners that are both  open and willing to share the challenges and opportunities they face in building their businesses as well as  practicing clear communication that results in a strong and lasting relationship. One of our directors, Mihayo popped into see the Petrobena team in Morogoro last week to discuss the upcoming  next stage farmer registration. He also spent time with the company’s lead agronomist Julius Lagat to  understand how Yara fertilizer products can significantly increase yields and when applied appropriately by smalholders open up significant  new cash flow opportunities for them. Using our Ubia Soko application will help smallholders  streamline the bulk ordering process offering them significant cost discounts. This is a win-win situation for farmers and the partners.
